CETINIA members participate in the organisation of two thematic tracks of the 18th EPIA Conference on Artificial Intelligence (EPIA 2017) to be held between the 5th and 8th of September 2017, at Porto, Portugal.

In particular, CETINIA co-organises the thematic tracks on Artificial Intelligence in Transportation Systems (AITS@EPIA2017) and Multi-Agent Systems: Theory and Applications (MASTA@EPIA2017).

CETINIA members participate in the organizing commitee of the 9th Workshop on Intelligent Systems and Applications (WISA 2017) at the 12th Iberian Conference on Information Systems and Technologies, to be held between the 21th and 24th of June 2017, at Lisbon, Portugal.

The expected outcome of the research is a PhD dissertation concerning the development of distributed scalable and robust algorithms to coordinate multiple agents in open large smart buildings. Topics of interest for the research include distributed and decentralized exact and heuristic optimization, multi-agent systems, semantic technologies and data stream processing, among others.

The workshop will be held on November 11, 2016 at University Rey Juan Carlos, as part of the activities of the research programme “Social modelling of ambient intelligence applied to large installations.

CETINIA members participate in the organizing commitee of the 8th Workshop on Intelligent Systems and Applications (WISA 2016) at CISTI'2016, which will be held from June 15th to 18th, 2016, in Gran Canaria, Canary Islands (Spain).

CETINIA members participate in the organizing commitee of a workshop on Smart Cities at PAAMS-2016, which will be held from June 1st to 3rd in Seville (Spain).

The workshop was held on October 15, 2015 at University Rey Juan Carlos, as part of the activities of the research programme “Social modelling of ambient intelligence applied to large installations.
