Development and Innovation

The results of CETINIA's research have a potential impact on its socio-economic environment.  A series of activities are being carried out by the Centre to develop and exploit this potential.  The following ones can be highlighted:

  • to apply Intelligent Information Technologies (IIT) to problems raised by the socio-economic sector:  CETINIA promotes collaborations with innovative companies, public organisms, and other relevant socio-economic actors in line with institutional objectives and its main lines of activity.  In this respect, development and innovation projects are of special interest to the Centre.
  • To offer consulting and technological services:  CETINIA offers consulting services for companies, mainly within the framework of development and innovation projects, but also regarding the training of practitioners in the field of IIT.  The Centre also provides a variety of technological services on-demand.
  • To contribute to the identification and protection of potentially exploitable results:  CETINIA pays special attention to identifying and specifying the potentially exploitable of its activities with the aim of furthering and protecting its IPRs.
