Created with the participation of CETINIA, the national thematic network of Linked Data, which brings together more than 150 researchers from 18 universities, has as main objective to facilitate exchange and transfer of knowledge between national research groups associated with universities, technology centers and companies, as well as with Spanish researchers that are currently working abroad in related areas.

El día 16 de febrero de 2011 se celebra en Madrid una jornada de innovación tecnológica que muestra un amplio abanico de novedosas herramientas software en cuyo desarrollo han participado investigadores de CETINIA. La jornada se centra en herramientas para ayuda a la decisión, basadas en técnicas de Inteligencia Artificial en general, y la tecnología de Agentes Software en particular. Participan más de 20 representantes de 15 empresas e instituciones nacionales.

CETINIA's annual reports, as well as the CETINIA monograph series are now available online. These publications are accessible through the "Dissemination & Promotion" section of the Centre's web site.

Members of CETINIA present the Centre and its activities at the 8th Congress on Virtual Reality Applications (CARVI-2010), held on November 11th and 12th, 2010 at the Technology Park of Álava and organised by the TECNALIA Technological Centre.

Together with the InterNeg Research Centre of Concordia Uniuversity (Montreal, Canada), CETINIA contributes to the research project "Responsive automated negotiation in open distributed environments", led by the Centre for Complex Software Systems of Swinburne University of Technology (Melbourne, Australia). The initiatve is funded for three years by the Australian Research Council (ARC) under the "Discovery Project" scheme.

The Centre for Intelligent Information Technologies (CETINIA) at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) offers a PhD scholarship for students pursuing a full-time PhD degree in Computer Science. More concretely the candidates will work in the use of Semantic Web techniques to discover and support the automatic adaptation of virtual organizations.

The Centre for Intelligent Information Technologies (CETINIA) at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) offers 2-year postdoc positions for researchers with a  PhD in Computer Science or related fields. The successful candidates will conduct their research in the field of Multiagent Systems and/or Semantic Technologies, take a leading role within the Spanish "Agreement Technologies" (AT) project, involving more than 50 postdoctoral researchers at three nodes, and contribute actively to the European COST Action IC0801 on AT.
