Together with the InterNeg Research Centre of Concordia Uniuversity (Montreal, Canada), CETINIA contributes to the research project "Responsive automated negotiation in open distributed environments", led by the Centre for Complex Software Systems of Swinburne University of Technology (Melbourne, Australia). The initiatve is funded for three years by the Australian Research Council (ARC) under the "Discovery Project" scheme.

The Centre for Intelligent Information Technologies (CETINIA) at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) offers a PhD scholarship for students pursuing a full-time PhD degree in Computer Science. More concretely the candidates will work in the use of Semantic Web techniques to discover and support the automatic adaptation of virtual organizations.

The Centre for Intelligent Information Technologies (CETINIA) at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) offers 2-year postdoc positions for researchers with a  PhD in Computer Science or related fields. The successful candidates will conduct their research in the field of Multiagent Systems and/or Semantic Technologies, take a leading role within the Spanish "Agreement Technologies" (AT) project, involving more than 50 postdoctoral researchers at three nodes, and contribute actively to the European COST Action IC0801 on AT.

The Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation (MICINN) has granted to CETINIA a research project on Adaptive Virtual Organisations, within its funding programme for basic research in Informatics. Más información

The Ministry of Science and Innovation (MICINN) has granted to CETINIA an ACI-LIDERA project, as part of the National Programme for the Internationalisation of Spanish R&D. ACI-LIDERA promotes the leadership of Spanish researchers and institutions in international research initiatives and programmes.

Members of CETINIA chair the 25th ACM Symposium on Applied Computing (SAC-2010) held from March 22nd to 26th, 2010, in Sierre (Switzerland).  More information

On October 17th, 2008, the kick-off meeting of the project COST AT was held in Brussels with the participation of delegates from 14 European countries supporting the initiative. As a result of the meeting, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos was appointed as the grant holder institution for the project, and CETINIA's Sascha Ossowski and Montserrat de Luna were elected as Action Chair and Action Manager, respectively.
