PhD position in Multi-agent coordination applied to smart buildings

The expected outcome of the research is a PhD dissertation concerning the development of distributed scalable and robust algorithms to coordinate multiple agents in open large smart buildings. Topics of interest for the research include distributed and decentralized exact and heuristic optimization, multi-agent systems, semantic technologies and data stream processing, among others.

PhD Scholarship in Adaptive Virtual Organizations

The Centre for Intelligent Information Technologies (CETINIA) at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) offers a PhD scholarship for students pursuing a full-time PhD degree in Computer Science. More concretely the candidates will work in the use of Semantic Web techniques to discover and support the automatic adaptation of virtual organizations.

Postdoctoral research positions in "Agreement Technologies"

The Centre for Intelligent Information Technologies (CETINIA) at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) offers 2-year postdoc positions for researchers with a  PhD in Computer Science or related fields. The successful candidates will conduct their research in the field of Multiagent Systems and/or Semantic Technologies, take a leading role within the Spanish "Agreement Technologies" (AT) project, involving more than 50 postdoctoral researchers at three nodes, and contribute actively to the European COST Action IC0801 on AT.
